The Club is pleased to announce winter training programs for Terms 2 and 3 have now been finalised for children Born 2009 to 2012.
Two programs are on offer for boys and girls.
1. Junior Development Training (Sunday Club training)
The objective of Junior Development Training is to continue developing water polo skills over winter in preparation for FlippaBall and DSC or JSL B Grade in Summer 22/23.
- For Flippaball and DSC players who are confident swimmers
- Suitable for Boys and Girls Born 09, 10, 11 and 12
- One session a week on Sundays at UWA Aquatic Centre (1pm to 2.30pm)
- Commences Sunday 1 May 2022
- No discount for missed sessions
- No training over July school holidays or on long weekends
- Fees: $160 for Term 2 and 3 (inc. pool entry to UWA Pool until further notice)
- Junior Development Regos now open
NB: UWA pool currently closed (trainings now Monday 5.30pm to 7pm, indoors at HBF Dive)

2. Junior Academy
The objective of the Junior Academy is to teach young players the base skills and techniques to enable them to progress into the club’s Junior State League teams (JSL), Western Australian Performance Program (WAPP) and future state representation.
- By coach selection
- Separate boys and girls programs
- Two age groups, Born 09&10 and Born 11&12
- Multiple sessions a week
- No discount for missed sessions
- No training over July school holidays

As the Junior Academy is by coach selection, children may TRIAL before they are invited to register. At the end of Week 2 of Term 2, selections will be finalised.
Registrations are now open and all fees are to be paid by Friday 13 May.
Start-up meetings, first trainings and weekly training programs are below. Parents and children are encouraged to attend the start-up meeting.
Anyone not quite ready for the Junior Academy is encouraged to sign up for Sunday Club training to continue developing their water polo skills. Children selected for the Junior Academy may also sign up for the Junior Development Sunday Club training (at additional cost).
BOYS U11 Born 2011 and 2012
Weekly training program as of 30 May 2022:
Monday – 5.30pm to 7pm, indoors at HBF Dive
Friday – 5pm to 6.30pm, indoors at HBF THAC
Fees: $320 for both Terms plus pool entry

Tuesday and Thursday – 4pm to 5.30pm, outdoors at UWA Aquatic Centre (35 – 42 Parkway, Crawley, WA 6009)
Saturday – 11am to 1pm, training games outdoors at UWA Aquatic Centre (35 – 42 Parkway, Crawley, WA 6009)
B09/10 Weekly training program as of 9 June 2022:
Tuesday and Thursday – 5:30 – 7:00 pm, at HBF Dive
Saturday, 12:00 – 2:00pm (to be confirmed each week, subject to availability at HBF Stadium)
Fees: $525 for both Terms (inc. pool entry to UWA Pool until further notice)
